Portable Lamp

A luminary that transcends boundaries of materials and crafting techniques. Encased within a wooden cylinder over a hundred millimeters deep, a hand-blown glass is cradled and safeguarded. A handle that unifies all elements and orchestrates the motion of the glass body. When held, the glass ascends and illuminates brilliantly. When placed or hung upside down, the glass descends, and the light dims. The collection comprises of a regal version with nut and brass, a rustic version with ash and leather, and a contemporary version with maple and colored steel. Each version features a warm white LED light with 2700 Kelvin and rechargeable batteries. A flexible 3D printed piece merges the hand-blown glass body with the wooden cylinder and the handle, resulting in a truly flexible and adaptable design.
